Increase Second Grade Reading Levels to 80% On Grade by Third Grade
1. Goal: R.C. Neal Elementary will increase the amount of students going to third grade
reading on grade level from 38% to 80%.
Objective: By giving the teachers specific strategies through on-going and job embedded
professional development, the second grade students will increase their reading level as
measured by the TPRI and Tejas Lee resulting in and increase of students who are going
to third grade reading on or above grade level.
